A Chapel Nestled in the Woods
Yesterday was a glorious day, weather-wise, so we decided to take advantage of it and go for a drive. Our destination was Bella Vista, Arkansas - a two hour drive from our home here in Kimberling City. Our objective - actually MY objective - was to photograph the beautiful little chapel there, nestled in the woods. The name of the chapel is the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel - and it's used for both Weddings and Memorials - but is always open to the public when not in use for private parties. It's truly a lovely little place in a beautiful setting. I had heard about it often and have been wanting to go for some time. The time finally arrived yesterday. Now, of course, I want to return in the Spring, when the trees are leafing out and the redbuds and dogwoods are in their glory! Mother Nature at her finest!
