The End of Autumn

We all had high hopes for a beautiful autumn this year, but it never really materialized. We finally got a little burst of color this past week - though many of the trees have already shed their leaves. So the colors are somewhat hit and miss. But I'll take the colors any way I can get them - and just hope that next year brings back the beautiful autumn colors we've enjoyed in the past. We drove over to Joe Bald Park - a small campground that also has a boat launch area - because I can virtually always find something beautiful to photograph there. And today was no exception. Though I did have to get a little creative with my composition in a few places!
